Refund policy
Return Requirements
To initiate a return, please email Sales@baytelhayat.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order, including your order number and the reason for the return.
Please note that returns must be both requested and sent back within the 14-day period.
To be eligible for a return, items must:

Be unworn and unused

Be in their original condition and packaging

Have no fragrance, perfume, or scent

Be returned as received
If an item is returned without meeting the return requirements or is damaged in transit, we will contact the sender to arrange for the item to be sent back to them. Please note that the shipping cost for returning the item back to the customer will not be covered by us.
Issues reported after the item has been worn will not be accepted for a return.
Once we receive the returned items, please allow up to 7 working days for inspection and processing. Once the refund is issued, the customer will receive an email confirmation (if an email address was provided at checkout).
Custom-Made Items
All custom orders are handmade to your measurements and are carefully checked before packaging and dispatch.
A return or refund will only be accepted if the item is faulty or made in error by us.
If there is an issue with a custom-made item, the customer must contact us immediately upon receiving the order, including their order number.
Please note: if a parcel containing a custom-made item is returned to us, we will not issue a refund.
Shipping Costs
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Items remain the customer’s responsibility until they reach us, therefore we strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service. We are not responsible for items lost in transit.
Returned to Sender Parcels
If a parcel is returned back to us by the courier, the original shipping cost will not be refunded.
This includes:

An incorrect or incomplete address was provided by the customer

Customs duties, taxes, or import fees were not paid

The parcel was not collected from a pickup point or delivery location

Delivery attempts were unsuccessful due to customer availability or instructions
Please note that any customs duties, taxes, or import charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our product or shipping prices.
Faulty Items
Customers must inspect their order upon delivery.
If you believe you have received a faulty item, please contact us immediately so we can assist you further.
Exceptions
Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer refunds or returns on hijabs unless the item is faulty or defective.
Exchanges
We do not currently offer exchanges.
Customers are encouraged to review our size guide carefully before purchasing. Further support is available if needed.
Events & Exclusive Offers
Customers have the opportunity to try on items during event days.
Items purchased in person at events are non-refundable due to exclusive offers and designs.
Clearance Items
All clearance items are final sale and non-refundable.
